Diving Watches

The waterproof nature of a diving watch is usually measured in units of water resistance. The unit is called ATM and in principle, 20 ATM means that the watch can be subjected to pressure corresponding to a 200 meter water column. It is of course great to find a diving watch at sale prices, but be sure to check that it has the functionality you are looking for. Diving watches should have the essential features, such as 20 ATM (200m water protection), a depth gauge, clear self-illuminating hands as well as number markings (or alternatively, backlighting).
