Is TheWatchAgency.com an authorized retailer?No. Our goal is to offer equal conditions at the best possible price. As an authorized dealer, you are, for most watch brands in our range, bound to prices determined by the watch manufacturer, so-called recommended list prices. Instead, we offer up to 40 percent lower prices - always with a guarantee.
Who are we?We were originally two guys (Pontus and Joel) who, after graduating from KTH in software development and computer programming, decided early on to combine our interest in watches with our knowledge of computers and the Internet. In December 2006 we opened Uret.se and it became a historic day for Scandinavian watch retail. A previously completely regulated retail trade in watches at high target prices suddenly had a challenger. Watch enthusiasts who did not live in the big cities no longer had to make a small pilgrimage to buy an exclusive watch. Today, we are by far the largest online watch store in Sweden, with thousands of stock models, dozens of colleagues and online stores in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland and Finland. We also have a vintage shop where you can buy, sell or exchange watches and a large network of authorized stores which allows us to deliver both ordinary and unusual watches at competitive prices.
Is there a warranty?Yes, always. We offer two different types of warranty; TheWatchAgency™'s 24-month manufacturing and material warranty or the watch manufacturers' official worldwide warranty. For each watch, it is stated which warranty applies. All exclusive watches are sold with a valid official world-wide warranty from an authorized dealer in our network. Read more about warranty here.
Are all watches genuine?Yes, of course.
Does it come with all the usual documentation such as warranty, box, manual and any extra accessories?Yes, exactly the same documentation, packaging and any extra accessories such as tool kits and the like are included as when purchased from an authorized dealer.
What happens if the watch breaks? It depends on the type of warranty you have. For watches with the manufacturer's own official warranty, you return the watch to any authorized dealer in Sweden or abroad. For watches with Uret.se's own manufacturing and material warranty, the watch is sent to us.

The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects.

Please note that guarantees do not cover:

  • damage caused by improper care, negligence, improper use or other damage not due to material or manufacturing defects.
  • damage caused by intervention by anyone other than an authorized dealer (official world-wide warranty) or our own service workshop (TheWatchAgency™'s manufacturing and material warranty).
  • damage to crown and glass.
  • damage to leather straps, plastic straps, links and their surface coating, as well as damage to the watch.
  • moisture damage to non-waterproof watches (waterproof = 10 ATM)
  • if the serial number has been changed or removed.
  • Please note that the original warranty certificate must be attached to the submission.
How long is the delivery time?Stock watch We sell watches in several countries and normally ship stock items between them once (1) every week.

Stock watches Explanation Delivered within 48 hours Orders approved before 12.00 noon Mon-Thu will be shipped the same day and normally delivered the next day. Orders approved after 12:00 noon will be shipped on the next non-holiday Mon-Thu for delivery on the next business day. Delivered within 4 days The watch is on its way to our warehouse or is in a nearby warehouse and is normally delivered within four (4) business days from the processing date. Delivered within 4-12 days The watch is in stock in another country, we normally ship stock items between warehouses once (1) per week, delivery within twelve (12) business days from the processing date.

Watches not in stock In the product information next to each watch there is an estimated delivery time. Normally all watches are delivered within this time. Please note that watches are handmade and it is often difficult to give an exact delivery date. In exceptional cases, delivery times may be longer.

We deliver all watches as soon as possible.

Can I deduct the VAT?Yes, if you are able to do so. If you enter a delivery address outside the EEA (EU, Norway, Iceland), the VAT will be automatically deducted in the shopping cart. If you have a company that is able to deduct VAT, this is done in consultation with your accountant.
How do you deliver the watch?By courier, registered parcel or cash on delivery. Read more about our delivery methods and conditions here.
What payment options do you offer?We currently offer our customers the following options: Card payment Invoice and partial payment Direct payment Bank transfer
What happens if I change my mind?Until the watch has been sent to you, you can simply contact us to cancel your order. If you wish to return a watch an already received watch it is no problem but you must let us know that you wish to do so within 14 days. Please note the watch must be returned in the same condition it was received.

Can you send me a catalog?We have no physical catalogs to send out. We refer to the online catalog on the website.
